I have a strat neck / charvel body....the neck holes are off enough to not fit, but not enough to just redrill...they will connect??? So, whats the standard practice here....drill large holes and fill will dowels? then redrill? Wondering what you do? Thanks

You don't need to widen the holes for new dowels,just go to the Home Depot or a hobby store and get the right size,then redrill.
Instead of trying to transfer the holes,you can clamp the neck in place and mark the holes with a scratch awl.
