Is installign a seymoru duncan humbucker easy to in a fender fat stratocaster? Has Anyone done this before, and could give me any tips/hints.
If the mounting screws for the original humbucker don't work with the Duncan pickup (though they probably will), you will have to use the Duncan screws but you will probably have to cut about a half-inch off the end because the routes on Strats aren't as deep as on a Les Paul-like guitar.
Otherwise, just wire it up the way the original humbucker was wired in there and it should be no problem.
