Here is my newest baby...
I have always wanted a Les Paul but can't bring myself to paying so so much.
I played Epiphone, I played well anything I could find ahhaa...
The Agile is owned by a few of my friends and well I decided to give it a go.
It plays so nice, I need to do some setting up to it, which I hope to get to tomorrow.

I will put more pictures up if there is Interest.
Also I hope this is the right place to put this!
If not I am sorry, please move it.

awesome! i want the P-90 LP

Looks very nice. What did you pay for it, if you don't mind my asking?

Looks nice~! I think Agiles are very cool guitars for the money; you made a good choice.

Nice guitar, heard those Agile's are supposed to be great for the $$

thanks everyone...
i paid i think it was $325 or so shipped.

i had a hard time deciding, a guy who i work with got the 3 tone sunburst and another friend got the cherry stripe sunburst so i figured i would go with quilted and really do like it!

i hate it so much when people say the pictures do not do it justice but guess what

anyway i have been playing it a lot, i still play my blackie (ec sig) but this guy sure does feel good!

Good score Aaron! Those guitars are great for the money. Throw some SD's in there and you've got yourself a keeper.Enjoy it.

My question is, these are Alnico II pickups in here now, I am sure there is a difference though!

I want that good Slash/Joe Perry classic rock sound u know!

That's one of the guitars I was looking at! The quilted, chambered, or Prestige model... how does it feel compared to an epiphone? How nice is the quilt? Is it a foto-quilt or legitimate quilted maple?

I'm impressed with what I see every time I look at Agile's site. Players starting out today, or those who are just on a budget really have so many more options than I did even 15-20 years ago.

Look at the model below. I would plunk down the $$ for this long before I did on an Epi, and it comes with Duncans, Gotoh hardware, grovers, bone and graphite nut. Crazy, and I'll bet it sounds good too.

It is a legit quilt, no photo, the quilt doesnt exactly line up and you can tell it is two pieces.

I personally think it is far superiror to Epis. I played a BUNCH of Les Paul type guitars before I decided on this, a neighbor has one of these and I got to play his then go play others etc.

Yesterday I was at the music store after playing my Agile for a while and to be very honest, I found one epi I liked, but I felt the others had a real farty kind of sound, and they did not stay in tune well which was odd.

I played some studios and some of those special Gibsons with the flat tops etc and well I gotta say I don't see much difference. Some people will say I am wrong crazy etc but you get ahold of one of these and see

The 2900 has had me interested for a while now.
Then the Univorm Profiles came out....

i took it to a pro for a setup but i got he lefty 3500 but a month ago and put in jb/jazz combo...i can say this much...i played with a right handed buddy who has been in bands for years...he is a les paul guy with several authentics and several epi's...although he could only do some basic strumming due to me being lefty he was very impressed. the guitar is built like a friggen tank, stays in tune and is easy to play. I can't speak for the 2800 or 3000 series but the 3500 is a steal (though i did upgrade the pickups and get a professional setup.) Anyway i will break it out for all to see on the long island get toghther. BTW kid pentatonic now knows all 5 forms...watch out.....

Between the 1 5/8quot; nut, the flatter neck, and the jumbo frets, Agiles seem more like player guitars than normal LPs. All of them are really a superb value too. Congrats!

As far as the Alnico II Pro, I've got one in my Warmoth. It's completely different sounding than any other A2 magnet pickup I've ever played - it really has sort of a scooped sound to it. Very nice though, and I do recomend it.

Good buy, I bought a 2500 DC a few years back, nice guitar - put in some SD 59's I bought on ebay and it sang - sold it to a friend who gigs with it weekly and the guitar has held up very well.

This is a strange question. But is it a quick neck?
I had a epi les paul custom plus that i had the frets filed on, and it was the best shred neck ever.... EVER... BEST SHRED NECK.. EVER!

Some stupid fool (ME!!!) sold it however.
I've been interested in the agiles for a while tho...

looks great man.....geez...everytime i think i quot;needquot; a gibson...i go to that site again...i mean i know it's not as good...but it's not exactly like i'm gigging everyweekend or something...and i'm not the richest guy in the world!?

my problem has always been my quot;filet mignonquot; tastes and my quot;bolognaquot; budget!!!

LOL, I hear you buddy!
