Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone could explain the differences between the 59, the 78, and the EVH. Thanks!
78 = EVH.
THe 59 is a production PAF Replica, whereas the ´78 is IIRC an exact copy of the Humbucker EVH brought SD to have rewound. Custom Shop piece, though.
As far as the tonal differences: I´ve never used a ´78, but from what I´ve heard it´s clearer, grittier and more quot;openquot; tonally....
