I just in stalled a pickup--I followed the diagram, here; one volume--and now, when I turn the volume on, the pickup is off and when I turn the volume off, the pickup is on normal. It's reversed or something.
How can I fix this?
thats very strange? What i tend to do, instead of soldering the joints direct onto the selector etc. i solder them to the old wires that i know have a good connection already. Its obviously got something to to with the connection to the volume pot in some shape or form... anyone else?
It simply means that you've reversed the two outside connections, which is easy to do. Leave the middle terminal alone, and reverse the outside two. As you look at the back of the pot, the ground should be on the most counter-clockwise terminal, and the input on the most clockwise terminal.

Thank you very much!
