Hi,

I am looking to get a very bright sound from the neck position of my Fat Strat (dulux 2004). I need something the opposite of the humbuker at the bridge and I am not sure what to go for. The pickup there (neck) at the moment is standard dulux model and doesnt cut/ring/chop through for arpegios and rawk: it seems rather mid range oriented and, as the middle pick up is similar, I think there is room for something different at the neck. Tele pick up do you think?

Any advice?

Thanks alot in advance.

P.S...

I had a Jackson Surcaster before and I loved that Lipstick sound. Has anyone ever tried a lipstick on a Strat?

Great name for a pick up! Have you heard one in the neck position? Are they much brighter than the standard?

can you say quot;SNARKquot;!!!! LOL!!!
great funk tones or country stuff from the DB's

If you're looking for a bright neck humbucker I'd go with the Duncan Jazz n. If you're looking for a bright single coil then I'd recommend the Duncan SSL-1 or Antiquity Surfer.

The other neck humbucker I like alot that is very bright and articulate is the Lindy Fralin 7.5K HB.
