I was planning on ordering two Edwards about two months back, but decided not to go with the Explorer since someone else will be building me one and the dealer didn't have the Les Paul I wanted. They are in stock, but I still can't decide between two of the les pauls, and these just came out too:

Hmmm I don't really like the look of the metallic purple, but that binding is a huge no-no IMO...
Yeah, it's a bit different than most like...But it's supposed to look like Hetfield's LP

I think it looks awesome! I think they should have went with a white binding though. How much does that thing cost?
It's cool, but I think the color of the binding should be changed.. or then the binding should be bit more narrow..
The price is about $975

BTW, they do make this eclipse with white binding too, just not in satin purple

I kinda like it, and I like the binding, but the purple color isn't what I'd go for. I'd get an Edwards in a different color like black or amber burst. Actually, I take that back.....I'd spend a few hundred more and get a Gibson.
i like it, i nearly bought the ESP version of that in that color a few months back from an AU ESP dealer but then i found my les paul limited edition studio and just went with that. i kinda regret it now b/c that ESP is freakin' sweet...i say go for it!

hey i dint know esp eclipse came in that colour! i like it.. much better than james' trucker eclipse. would rock even more with yellow racing stripes

Hetfields is purple like that?? Wow...I never knew...I thought it was a black LP Custom....Either way I think it looks cool and different at least. I wish they made it in more colors actually....LP Customs look great in black and white but they can do so much more with it.
I love that. I've wanted an LP painted that color ever since I saw Het's on your website Monty.
