I love my Fender Strat with the singles and hot rails, however the middle single coil sounds too...quot;in-the-middlequot; to me. I keep the neck single with the tone at 1-2 and the middle with the tone at 10 to go from 'bassy single coil' to 'twangy single coil' by flipping my switch but that middle pickup just doesn't twang how i want it to. The bridge pup is a Hot Rails which refuses to twang but I'm happy with how it sounds so i don't wanna mess with it.
So yeah...anybody know of any really-twangy Strat pups? I want to get as close as possible to a Tele bridge sound, knowing full well I can't do that without another guitar...hah
