I am just curious what the most you have ever payed for 1 guitar or amp?

$1,500 on my latest axe.

I think about $1800 Canadian for my Warmoth.... paid a tech to put it together for me as back then i had no idea what i was doing...

i think second would of been a Jackson..... i took a brand new Jackson that cost me around $1000 new. A few weeks later i then had a tech add an Original Floyd, a Duncan pickup and had it refreted with a different frets..... at a cost of about another $600... To this day i have no idea why i did that customizing to that Jackson but i just wanted it done.... It was a new guitar!!!!! I wish i had not.. But it is still one of my most used guitars so i guess in a weird way it is worth it.... Young and crazy i was. I will make a homemade neck for that guitar this winter... i want a thicker maple neck on it now... here we go again

It's in the factory at the moment. Why can't it just be December now?

250 pounds... about 450 dollars. For my first guitar, and main one too.

I sold amp; traded my way to a $1700.00 Matchless Clubman...which was eventually traded for my current DST U84 which sells for $2300 new.

Not bad considering I only have about $500 cash into the long road there!

I know how you feel.. except I'm waiting for late-October/early-November to come..

Quite more than I've spent on anything else.

$4240 for my 59 RI Les Paul in 2001.

I have over $7000 into my Mesa rack.

My amp...$850US for the preamp, $800US for the power amp.

My old RR-1 - $1050 shipped. Come Monday, though, it'll be my halfstack. 950 for head, 500 for cabinet, but that's two seperate items.

I paid $2,489 for my PRS Custom 22 Artist Package. Worth every penny and those 2 years I saved for it.

$2000 for my Morris head.

New 2x12 combo. Guitar Center had a serious clearance on them on the 4th of July. The salesman let me know about it the friday before so I put it on layaway until the reduction happened on Monday. There was a sweet Lonestar in clear gloss maple that was killer too...

$1000 for my ES135, out of the box. Add in another $350 for different frets and taking out the trapeze tailpiece and putting in a stud. Great sounding instrument....now. I actually used it at a band job this last weekend, in favor of the Bastardcaster. I should use it more, but I like guitars that fight a bit more than this one does.
