with pickups taking many many measures to eliminate feedback and microphony or all that other good stuff, is it making it harder and harder to use feedback as part of your music ( intro to leads and such ) ?

In my own situation,I get my feedback and sustain from not only the right guitar and pickups,but it also has everything to do with your amp and effects and where you stand in relation to your amp...It's not just one thing that gets us the sustain and feedback and it's not something we get every single time we set up and play..On those nights where everything is working though,that makes for a very inspiring night..
