250K?
.1 cap or .22 or .47???
I want to go ahead and upgrade the whole bit while I am doing it.

It's all subjective and boils down to what your ear ikes to hear. Personally, I prefer 250K's...... 500's will add a bit more treble. I just find 250's do the trick. As far as caps, again, I like the .033 or .047 myself. .033 is a nice compromise between the .022 and .047. No right or wrong though. Good luck! Hope it works out well for you. 1/4lbr's are a fun set.

Good luck with the mod. As you know by doing strats, teles will soon become an addiction!
While I love vintage toned teles, my heart lies with the more corpulent side of things. The 1/4 lbr's will certainly get you where you need to go. Have fund and kick some arse!

Did you get the tapped version of the bridge pickup?
FWIW, I use a 500k volume and a 250k tone in my tele with a Hot Lead in the bridge.

Cool.....again, no right or wrong on pot/cap values, just what works best for YOU. Dimarzio recommends a 250K vol and 1meg tone for their VV pickups. I use a VV Hot T in the bridge of one of my teles and have wrestled with the thought of trying that combo. I'm just so happy with the tone from the 250K's and .033 that I don't want to fix what ain't broken.......although that has never stopped me in the past!
Sorry the pickups are not tapped.
I have a QP for Tele -- but it was too much like a humbucker for me,

Benjy, what does the 500k volume pot value do in the setup? I've never mixed and matched...
Well, I run a PGn in conjunction with the STL-2, so I put in the 500k pot to brighten up the sound a bit.
Gotcha-
