Hi there!
I know now it is been discontinued but you still can find some here in Spain and they are selling them at a good price. (Well, a good price in Spain 900€/1200$, not a good price in the States!!! )
Fact is that there are only two left in the Spainsh distribuitor so I may hurry up if I want to buy one. Tech 21 offers me a lot of confident, I have the trademark10 and I love the tone it has. I know it is not a tube amp, but it has is's own character which I like a lot. When I look at trademark120 features I am just amazed with the flexibiity of the preamp configuration. And knowing the respect Tech21 has earned I doubt the amp will disapoint me. This looks like a GAS atack, isn't it?
What can you tell me about this amp? Is it woth buying or you think it is better going for a different one?
i had one and loved it...the three independent channels was so sweet...you could dial in your fender sound, your marshall sound and your mesa sound and have them all ready to rock at the tap or you feet! and if you need it...it's waaay loud!
Thanks Hoss!
I was wondering that may be you had some clips from the amp.
nope...sure don't...sorry
thanks again hoss!!
Any more input?
bump!
Can't say enough about the Trademark 60.....I'm sure the 120 is just a 3-channel, 2x12 version.
Go to amp; listen to the soundclips of the TM60......or it might even be close to that 3-channel 300w monster head that they do.

HERE: from : localhost/was the other target... Both amps amazes me with their features. TM60 seems more versitele on the reseach side and TM120 on the stage side.
I am still don't understand why they have discontinued the TM120, looks so great!!!
If you can get the chance to play one, I think you'll be impressed.
Actually, if you get a TM60 amp; find you need more power, you can always grab a Power Engine to add 60 more watts or set it up in stereo.
Check around though....you see them pop up every now amp; then in the for sale ads.....too bad you're overseas though; a lot of guys don't like the shipping hastle
Here's the review I wrote of my Trademark 60 when I got it:
from : localhost//forum/showthread.php?t=27786
It's a great little amp! Great sounds, great features, versatile and so easy to carry around. The Tech 21 brand doesn't seem to be widely known in the UK - I've seen some used ones selling very cheaply on Ebay here. Don't know whether the same is true in Spain.
Amazing review Simon! You just make me want the amp a little more...
As you state the TM60 seems the knob tweaking heaven. TM120 doesn't have the posibility to fatten the second order harmonic and seems a little less versitile tone-wise. Anyway the 2 speaker configuration seems very appealing to me and the complete chanel switching freedom seem very useful.
Now I am selling my amp and someleft overs to see If I can get the money. If I don't I will try to buy the TM60.
I think they are discontinuing the TM-10 as well..everywhere I've looked online has it on closeout???
Regardless..T-21 stuff kicks @$$. I mis my SansAmp (original). Lotta tone shaping available on that thing.
2 questions
1) Can you run outta the loop on the TM10 and slave it into say an Atomic Reactor?
2) Simon, the boost function on your TM60..is it just a volume boost or does it add gain as well?

Actually the TM10 has 3 ways of pulling out the signal before it hits the power amp.
1) loop out
2) Sans amp XRL
3) Headphones (with a bit more treble to compensate headphones eq)
I belive any of thoose three could drive an Atomic Amp. The Sans amp may be the best...

It's just a volume boost. Being solid state, all the distortion and tone shaping happens in the pre-amp. You can still goose it with a pedal if that's your thing! (I so know it is ). Haven't tried it myself but have heard that the TM60 takes pedals really well.
The TM60 doesn't sound as good as a cranked tube amp (power tubes cooking), but to my ears it sounds better than a tube amp when only the pre-amp tubes are distorting. I rarely get the chance to crank my 50w Jubilee these days. At the volume my band plays the TM60 sounds better than the Jubilee. If I used an attenuator things might be different. That for me is the strength of a good solid state amp - great tone at low volumes.
First gig of my new band is scheduled for 7th January. Haven't made up my mind yet - TM60 or Jubilee?
the way you describe the trademark 10, it sounds like a cool amp to have around for sure...i need to check and see how much they're going for now used???
i miss my tech!
I don't think they are going to discontinued it. Once I somebody from Tech21 told me that the TM10 was one of their best selling products.
