Splawn Guitars does great work, but I don't want to have to leave my guitar for up to 4 weeks.
I finally got the replacement bridge for my 57' RI that the seller had promised me, the saddles that came on the guitar had been notched for 12-70 guage strings, after he had told me they weren't (it was really cool that he sent me annother historic bridge btw). However, this bridge (or maybe saddles) is off. It's like the strings go at a slighty off center line from the tailpiece to the saddles, and then in a slightly different direction to the nut....it's not right. The notches are cut in the center of the saddles it seems, but the angles are all askew. Also, the nut needs replaced, which I new going into the deal, I've just been waiting. I also think it needs a fret level, as I have some buzzing on a few frets.
Anyone know a good, reputable shop anywhere near Charlotte that won't have as long a wait? After my Goltop, I want to have my Standard done with a new bone nut and fret level/dress. I just don't want to be without each guitar for a month or more.
Thanks.

You're welcome Jeff. I don't know how far behind they are right now but their work is top notch.
