Hey guys.

As TO mentioned in another thread, I went on a bit of a buying rampage while in New York and bought 4 pedals and an amp, so thought I'd best get pics up for you guys

The inspiration for 1 of TO's newest purchases
The warmest sounding Fuzz pedal I've ever tried

The next 2 pedals may look familiar

Because they used to belong to TO

Here's the amp that I bought:I'll post more info when I've had chance to try them all out on my gear, which will hopefully be over the weekend (depending on how badly Jetlagged I am)

Craig

Damn cool stuff... you've got enough overdrive/distortion pedals to give one away to every member on the forum! So you can start with me. I'll take the Full Drive 2 please.

And what the heck is that Camel thing???!!!

Hehe!!!

Smokey Amps!!, they are cool, apparently they can power a 4x12.

Nice stuff Brow!

Thanx mate

I do have quite a 'collection' I'm going to set a few days aside to play around with things and then I can see what what works for me and what doesn't, then I might sell off anything I don't/won't use all that much

That Camel 'thing' is a Smokey amp I dunno how good it sounds, but I got it for messing around with. Apparently they sound quite cool when pushing a bigger cab

I'd heard they're good little amps for messing around with, so I thought I'd pick 1 up while they were only $30

I saw them on strings direct, heard they were pretty good too, was gonna get one but they were sold out.

Apparently you can use it into the front end of you amp too, like an OD, that'd be fun

I've never seen them for sale in the UK, but have seen them in magazines etc.

There's only a speaker output on the amp, so I dunno if I'd risk plugging it into the front end of another amp. But if it's not dangerous, then I'll give it a try

from : localhost/says in the first paragraph you can do it, I had to check in case you did it and blew your amp!

Thanx for the info

I also downloaded the video demo of the Smokey being used to drive a cab and used infront of another amp and it sounds quite cool

Cool, let us know how you get on with it, and the pedals.

I'll be sure to

I plan on setting aside a few hours to go through everything I have pedalwise and then selling off anything I don't use all that much

Thanx for your posts

Aside from the Smokey, all that other stuff is pure sh.ite!

Yes, you can run a smokey into an amp; it creates one of the best sludgey, Sabbath-like distortions you ever heard. And, yes, you can drive a 4x12 with one, though not easily. I had one for months before it finally fell apart. Great piece of kit!!

There is something really cool about wacky graphics on pedals! I love it! Craig, get some clippays up!!

Great SCORES!

quot; you got a nice bit of kit matequot; ..nice scores man... i'dlike a review of the reezafratzitz after you fiddle with it for a while

It's sure easy to spend money in NY huh? LOL

If you can't find it in LA or NY, it doesn't exist! You can even find pedals called reezafratzitz. The only thing I haven't seen in LA is a Gordon Smith guitar.

yeah i love the wild graphics on the boutique pedals...the thing i find funny the higher the price on a pedal the more the graphics look like a 6 yr old drew them on in art class hahaha.congrats on the new purchases Brow...enjoy them!!-Mike

Nice Stuff man!!!! Glad you had a good time and picked up some sweet gear to boot!!!

If they're all sh.ite then why did you go out and buy a ZVex Super Duper a few days after I did?!

Ez74, I'll be sure to review the ReezaFRATzitz (and all the others I bought) when I've sat down and played about with them for a bit

Thanx forall the posts guys

Craig

i'm more interested in ben's pedals, but that smokey amp really sounds interesting
