Did anyone try the PATB-1 neck model? Could anyone post some clips?
Also, what's the idea of having a trembucker in the neck? Cause it's designed for the bridge spacing..

They aren't really trembuckers, per se, its just that the pole pieces are so wide, they serve tremspacing and regular spacing equally well.

Dude, did I rejoin this forum at the right time The PATB-1 is awesome in the neck position! I think it's the perfect neck model. It's nice and round when it's clean but still has plenty of cut when it's distorted. I don't have any samples of it though. In fact I haven't played that guitar in a while because I've mostly been playing bass. So all my 6 strings are locked under the stairs. BUT lucky for you I have to dig out my acoustics so our lead singer can use them in the studio. Plus with the reforming of Pink Floyd(even if it's only for 15 minutes) I've been inspired to rock out on my skinny string guitars So I'll see about restringing it and getting you a sample or two. But, Live 8 is starting and I gots to go.

Did you restring it yet? I'd love to hear some samples if you've got'em...

Not quite right... there is a PATB-1b and a PATB-1n, the neck version is NOT designed for the bridge at all, but for those players that would either like to keem a uniform visual appearance and /or have the advantages or Parallel Axis poles in the neck....

I haven´t had one go though my hands in years, so I can´t really comment much on the tone anymore, sorry,,, I know it wasn´t a vintage style output, but IIRC the tone was actually much more quot;vintagequot; than I expected... but Now I´m stretching it, sorry...
