Since I decided to put a Distortion in my Bich and it has a trem I started to look for one to order. These things are hard to find. Only a hand full of websites actually have one. There isn't s sinlge all black one available on ebay, no reatail stores near me have one and Musician's Friend says it's a special order! Music123 has them and I ordered it from there. But is the TB6 that hard to find? I would think given its a distortion it would be one of the more popular pickups and I don't exactly think trems are a rarity either.

Grab a Duncan Designed HB103 for now.Its based on the DD.I just threw one in a Strat and it is really great.They're cheap,I just saw a few on eBay and they go pretty cheap.The bridges are trem spaced. Heres an ugly one for $20!

BTW, IMO the DD Version is pretty weak compared to the original, I´d save those 20 bucks

I really like the HB-103n; I'm not as fond of the bridge version, though.

Why are these things so freakin hard to find? Everyone has the SH6 no one has the TB6. Does it matter? Should I just get the SH6 and jam in my guitar with the Floyd?

i got a SH4 (as oposed to the TB4) in my charvel and it works without a problem.. as brutal as ever

I checked the local Guitar Center first. They have SH6 not a TB6 though. Check George's music and Sam Ash neither have. Checked a pretty big local guy who has a huge selection of Duncans... nothing. Checked Musicians Friend, nothing. Music123 had it but they are several thousand orders behind because theyre in the middle of moving warehouses. Lewguitar never got back to me. I searched on google. Four places had the pickups two were Music123. So I ended up ordering from Guitar Electronics. Should be here in a few days.

Yeah, Guitar Electronics are a good place, more people should consider them.

Sorry...I have some black Custom Trembuckers. No black Distortion Trembuckers. If you had a ceramic magnet you could put it in a black JB Trembucker and have what you need. Lew
