I've got a rather slow computer, and I don't really have any need for huge programs with tons of crap like Cool Edit or Pro Tools or whatnot, but I'd still like to be able to record my music. Does anyone know of a free recording program that's free of adware/spyware which will essentially just let me chronicle my live jams and have a few seperate tracks to mess with?

Tracktion is cool, it's by Mackie, simple, doesn't hog you PC memory too much (you can use it just for what ypu need, or you can program MIDI and start getting advanced too)

They were giving out free licences for it a little while ago, don't know if they still are though?...
