I put the Blues Saraceno Trembucker in my Charvel today and all I can say is wow!!!! It sounds even better in the Charvel than it did in the Jackson and dare I say, it sounds better than the Tone Zone that I pulled out of the Charvel!!
Of course, the Tone Zone sounds better in the Jacksn than the Blues did so who knows? But, the Blues and the Charvel are a match made in heaven.
Anyone, anyone who has been mulling this pickup over....do yourself a favor and BUY ONE. They simply kick righteous ass. I have never had a pickup that made artifiicial harmonics easier to hit. It is a squealing machine.
Rock on.
Mike
sweet, I've been meaning to try one.
I've been talking up that pickup for years...it's the hidden gem of the Duncan lineup. A lot of people pass on it because of the different look and the fact that it's only available in black. But if you can get over that, it's one of the best bridge pickups ever made.

How does it compare in output and eq to a tone zone? I was under the impression that it was a lower output, PAF-style pickup, so your harmonics comment caught me off guard...

Well, it may be a lower output pickup than the Tone Zone, but it screams. It has just as much drive, and is fatter than the Tone Zone. I did set the Blues higher to the strings than the Tone Zone, however.....not by a huge margain though.
I thought it would be a mellow pickup...and it has a very mellow tone if you keep the gain down, or roll back on the volume. But if you want to go balls to wall on gain it will reward you with a rich, fat distortion tone and, yes, pinch harmonics explode out of the guitar with this pickup. It is just a killer pickup.

Good report Mike. I have wanted to try that pup for a while, but came across a great deal on an Original Parallel Axis TB and bought that. It's a great pickup as well, and sounds like it has a lot in common with the Blues, only hotter. It's a great pickup in my super light Alvarez Dana Scoop.
Enjoy.
