I'm looking at a Gibson patent-stamped bracket with dual zebra coils, NO adjustable posts, 4 thin white magnet-strips, reads 9.28k
Each coil has 3 round holes on top- end (copper wire visible), and between 1-2 and 5-6. Coil wires are each black amp; white.
Did Gibson actually ever make a slugs-only humbucker?
I know the humbucker on my Gibson Nighthawk was slugs only, so the answer to your question is quot;yes, but...quot;

from : localhost/the quot;Classic Hawk Plus™quot; and quot;Super Hawk™quot; pickups feature adjustable pole pieces,........quot;
Maybe I need to find more vintage info on the Nighthawk..........
It is probably some sort of Stag Mag type pickup. I don't have a name for you though. The Nighthawk has slanted coils, does it have that?
Man I need to find me a Classic Hawk Plus! I've never seen those around anywhere.

I'm trying fo figure out if it's just non-Gibson coils mounted on a Gibson patent-stamped bracket, probably not Stag Mag, those studs stick up, don't they? These studs are flush-down on the coil surfaces, thanks for calling yet another quot;distinguising categoryquot; to my attention!
Looks like the studs are original (not adjustable-pole replacements etc.), looks similar to Mighty Mite Super-Stud but there are too many differences to be one of those, either.

Yeah, I was just saying a Stag Mag type- meant to be split and sound like a Fender single.
