Well I had this brilliant idea of tuning down a half step, kinda got tired of it and decided to go back up. Well im twisting the screw up that holds the right side of the strings, feels tighter but I keep going, all of sudden it starts wobbling!!! I pulled out the screw only to find it broken in two with the threaded part stuck inside the guitar, too far to pull out. What the hell do I do? I'm trying to think positive, thinking this is great experience for me to learn some more about repairing guitars, but I'm still pissed!!!
What in the hell are you talking about?
Wait a minute... are you talking about the screw for the tremelo claw?
since when is there a right side to the strings

Yep, I forgot what thats called for a sec. Im really mad from a mixture of not being able to play the guitar and getting in trouble with my parents

Since there was right and left The bass side for the technical people.
You're gonna have to find something to get the screw out. Or, drill another hole in the claw, and another hole beside the original one, and go off that.
Did you tighten it because you have it set floating? Or was it pulling up?
Anyway, just fill in the hole with some wood filler and such, and add a spring.

That wouldn't put the trem of balance?
Depends.
How often do you use your trem? Blocking it might be your best solution that way if you fill it in and such it will have less strain on it from use.
I dont use it that much, though I'd love to, because its a pice of junk. It's an edge pro that I hear people talk about how great it is, so mine must be defective. Only three fine tuners work. It's a shame this guitar has such bad quality componets, beause its really a great looking and playing and sounding guitar. I think my next guitar is gonna be a jackson if I can afford it.

Man, if you want a kick ass Floyd-ed guitar, go for an old Kramer Focus. You can get them off the 'bay for well under 3 bills, and (if it's stock and hasn't been stripped) includes an original Floyd.
You can go to a hardware store and get a screw extractor kit to remove the old screw. Don't go drilling more holes in the guitar and doing a kludge repair...you'll just regret it in the long run.

If it's an Edge Pro, it's a good trem, if it's an Edge Pro II, it's a turd. What model guitar is it in?

Sears sells the screw extractor kits and I've used them. They are life savers! Used correctly, they can back out the threaded portion of the screw still in your guitar and you should be able to re-use the old hole.
