Well? how many?

200 watts with the internal speaker, 400 when attached to an extra cab. Local hot shot steel guitar player uses one for his steel. Actually, that tends to be the popular consensus..they're for steel players

What the hell would you need that much for anyway? You haven't listened at all to all the advices you got, have you?

steel players want it because they don't want there to be any chance of the sound breaking up. They want the most headroom absolutely possible! but for guitar? that's just too much

Well, I wasn't talking to you, but to motorboy29

oh I know..I was just adding more insight

I bet it would sound good with my 2-15 Dual Showman cab and a PlexiTone cranked up!!!!!!!!

I used one for 2 years! 200 watt session 400 steel guitar amp with some serious reverb! Thing was so freakin bright and top end heavy, killed my ears. I could never get it past the 7 mark cuz the whole amp would shake too violently.

...Actually, they are probably one of the best sounding guitar amps....(for being SS) I've played through...

Oh, and btw, having 200 watts and using only 30w results in an exceptionally reliable rig.....(of course, I could be wrong.... )

Yea, i know, im sorry. see, theres one at a local store for 250$ and my parents have given up trying to get up to speed on amplifiers enough to try to buy me one, so theyre gonna let me loose on a music stor or two with three undred dollars and only the vaguest idea of what I want . picture music stor clerk. quot;I got three hundred dollars 'an I wanna ampquot; anyway. I didnt know how many watts so i asked. maybe ill just buy it and I will fill my barn-like space with the high voltage rock an all that. I think the spray paint went to my head (from the guitar body that is).

My god...
