where the heck is FRAMUS on the list?
Poll!!!! POLL!!!!!Oh, and I vote Marshall
That's like asking whether I prefer using a hammer or a computer. I like them both, but they are good for different things.

Overly dark for my tastes, but still a cool tone.

Why an OD pedal in front of those? Most Krank and ENGL's have plenty of gain. With Peavey it depends on the model.

quot;Mr. Hammer, meet Mr. Computer.quot;

Running an OD pedal infront of an amp (always set to a somewhat clean boost, something like tone at 5, level at 7, drive at 3) just puts a nice coating over the amps sound. Tightens everything up, adds some saturation, which lets you lower the gain, and just makes things in general sound better.

Ok, just wanted to see what you were using it for. That's how I use an OD pedal too, if I'm using one at all. Not to be stereotypical, but many players your age that I come across are always wanting more and more gain. Just turn all the gain knobs up all the way. I was that way myself, I think we all were. I see it at GC all the time. Of course, I've also read that you're the exception, and someone else too, can't remember.
