Anybody try this combo in a Les Paul style guitar?

No, no I have not tried this combo.
I've used Seth Lover's in the neck position of several guitars and it sounds great to me. I think it would pair up just fine with a 59 in the bridge. My two Terry C. McInturff guitars have Seth Lover's in the neck amp; bridge position.
