Dudes....I gotta tell ya. I could never ever pay that kinda cheese for that guitar after getting the PRS SE Soapbar. They have the exact setup basically and my guitar was $300. I am certain that the Gibson has better components, but certainly not $800 worth. IMO of course!!

I don't know...thats a Custom shop model, I guarantee that thing has got some major tone mojo going on. Wood quality and the single cutout makes a BIG diff in tone.

Whether it plays any better or worse is entirely different.

I'd spread my legs for that.

It'd look better orange, with a yellow pearloid pickguard

I like it. The pickguard would be changed to black though if it was in my possession.

I'd like a different color. Those are nice guitars - you might consider some different pups, though.

If that works for you and you can't tell the difference that's fine but they are world's apart.
