Have you guys ever put a trembucker in like a les paul........ do u think it would sound alrite?

Post 1995 Gibsons that were NOT historic and/or reissues have a slightly wider string spacing and a Trembucker actually works better.

1, as my experience reflects this as well

yeah if you have a LP that came with a 490T,498T or 500T it is tremspaced(52mm)

I use trembuckers in everything.

from : localhost/you look at this web they have neck spaced pups and brigde spaced pups...the 490R is the neck one and the 490T is the trembucker....i think gibsons pups R and T terms means regular and trem-spaced...go for the trembucker version of the pup you prefer

The R and T mean quot;Rhythmquot; and quot;Treblequot;, like the positions on a Lester´s Toggle

it wouldnt matter what the r and t stand for cause rhythm is always gonna be regular spaced cause rythem is the neck and treble is bridge so it can be f spaced if needed.

I have a DD trembucker in my Jackson, which is a TOM/string thru bridge. Works fine, aligns fine, maybe a little wide, but it looks fine.

so i posted quot;i thinkquot; before someone went saying something more logical or less stupid

I'm gonna replace all my humbuckers with trembuckers.
Also on my Gibson Explorer ;-)

If you say so. Standard spaced pickups fit just fine in my 2000 LP Standard. I grabbed a trem spaced pup out of the closet to double check and the pole pieces are spaced way to wide for the LP.

Its true Gibson began making pickups that had different spacing for each postion but they have never made instruments (LP's at least) with the old fender/Floyd Rose spacing the Trembuckers were designed for.
