Is there a need for a trembucker version of neck pickups, or is the regular spacing fine for the neck position on guitars w/ Floyd Rose trems? I'm thinking of getting the Alnico II Pro.

Since the strings are closer together as you move away from the bridge, I'd like to know if anyone knows for sure that pole-piece spacing is not an issue. Thanks...

There is a need for it because the poles do not line up exactly, especially on the low strings. I'm in the same boat as you, for now.

There are no trem spaced neck pickups. The regular spacing is fine for the neck. Also, I've used plenty of regular spaced bridge pickups with a Floyd and have never had a problem. It's cosmetic only. There are very VERY few people who could notice a difference on the high and low E strings when comparing a regular spaced with trem spaced birdge pickup.

Probably the only reason I hear it in my PRS is because of the amp type, and that guitar. In others I might not could even tell. I'd like to think I could, but I'm not going to fool myself.
