Any of you had experience(bad or good and not sexuel) with Steinberger guitars?

I had a Steinberger bass a long time ago. It was very stable and even sounding, but didn't really have a lot of quot;soulquot;. I used it on a bunch of sessions and it recorded really well. I know that it's different than a guitar, but I'd imagine that the similar thing would happen.

I've always wanted one. I actually considered a bass before I bought the ESP. I was GOING to purchase a Hohner SB copy, but they did not have the right color. C'est la vie.
