i have a sd 1/4 pound precision pickup and i love the ernie ball stingray and i know a Jazz pickup will create more of that bridge humbucker like sound i love since my bass was originally a pj it wont be too difficult to put in i originally replaced the p pickup to get more of the mark hoppus bass sound and the stock jazz pickup was barely audible and it always gave a buzz on every bass the same model i tried so i removed it

so in summary i need suggestions to what jazz pickup would compliment a 1/4 lb precision pickup to sound like a ernie ball stingray (also less buzz the better)

I've heard that the quot;Hotquot; is a pretty popular match for the 1/4 pounder. I've got a Jazz bass with the pickups wired in series, and I can get pretty close to the Stingray sound (I think, at least ).
