I picked up a Korina Kramer pacer/baretta style guitar body off e-bay- it's a replica of the 5150 body and I'm going to build a custom guitar out of it. I bought it because I played an original Kramer baretta at Guitar Center recently and the body just felt real comfortable- I didn't get this body to do some cliche 5150 replica.
Anyway, what humbucker would you use to exploit the tone of Korina in a single humbucker, floyd equipped guitar? I'm still deciding on the neck, whether it should be maple 25 1/2quot; scale or maybe Korina 24 3/4quot; with an ebony or rosewood fretboard? Also feel free to chime in with your choice of neck. I'm probably going with Warmoth for the neck
Whats your music style, by the neck will really alter the tone so its pretty hard to just pick a pickup with out know the wood on the neck and fingerboard

Yup more info needed...
I'd prolly go with a 59 if you went with a korina/rw neck, or an EVH with the maple board ..if you are going for a hard rock sound.
Both should help with the Floyd, and be bright enough to help cut through in their corresponding necks, while still sounding quot;warmquot;.
