Aight guys I need suggestions please, I have a strat thats H-S-H now the humbuckers are single-coil sized so i had to change the pot to 500k so I want to use the middle for just funk! So considering my setup:::

Depends on what kind of funk you're after. Minihumbuckers can do great spanky tones, but if you want that classic quack, I guess the duckbucker is pretty quacky in the notch positions. You aren't gonna get a great funky tone out of JUST the middle pickup. You'll probably want to split it with another pickup to get that spank.

Well my influences are Prince (kiss for example) and sly for funk. I guess Im trying to get that kinda grove

You'll need a real live single for those tones. I'd go with a SSL-1 and a switch to split your two 'buckers so you get killer notch tones.

I've found that my Fender American Deluxe V neck Strat gets amazing funk tones from the notch positions with the stock SCN pickups. In the number 2 position (neck and middle) the tone is really rich and full sounding but chewy and nice. With the number 4 position (bridge and middle) I get the most amazing Albert Lee tone which works real well for the fast-then-muted funk chords.This is due to the humbucker in the bridge. There's lots of compression from that pickup but lots of nice openness with the middle pickup and they sound amazing together. Last but not least, the neck pickup alone is amazing, the most rich and stratty noiseless pickup I've used...great for anything where the clarity and richness of a single coil is needed (IMO funk needs singles).

1 and the middle position on a Tele.

i dont know I really like just the middle pickup on a strat, its bright and well..funky haha
