What do you think about this? It's had at least two owners, and the guy who has it cares not for it. I can probably get a good deal on it.
For me, there's nothing wrong with those guitars for the money. They play fine for the most part, and you can always change hardware, p'ups, etc., if you so desire.
Googling shows the new price to be $320 to $360. The guy who has it now bought it along with a jackson for $450 CND in total (about $360). He only wanted the jackson; The Turser was thrown in to the deal. The guy he bought it from claims he paid $400 cnd for the Turser, and $1200 cnd for the Jackson. That means that the guitars are probably hot.
It's probably a maple neck on an alder body. I doubt it's wood composite, but it's easy enough to check. If it's a maple neck, then this might be another opportunity to whip out the sand paper and tung oil. What do you think is the most I should pay for it? I was thinking $150. Any more than that, and I might as well get an Agile. And for the price of an Agile, I might as well save up for a Godin or PRS SE.
