Guys after getting my 59 trembucker in my bridge I found that the tones were thicker and warmer. I love the sound of humbuckers now. I began to use my neck standard strat sc pickup and found that it was too muddy. Do you guys know of any good choices of neck humbuckers that don't have the muddy type of tone? Right now I considering to get a Dimarzio Super Distortion 2 in the neck because of the bright sound it has. I'd say that right now I'm into using moderate to high moderate high distortion right now. Sometimes I crank the distortion all the way up.

Pearly Gates neck, I have never had it get muddy in the neck slot and I use all mahogany guitars.

A Jazz Neck sounds good. It's always nice and clear.

Alinico II Pro

In my double fat strat i have a 59 jb combination which is great i say go for the 59

I actually already have a 59 in my bridge.

I'm pretty sure he meant he's suggesting that you put a 59 in the neck, in addition to the 59 you have in the bridge.

The 59 is a good neck pickup, but I still prefer the Jazz. I think the jazz is clearer.

Jazz or A2p

I have a PGn in a double fat strat, and it's too muddy for me in this guitar. Not that I'd call it a muddy pickup, but I think a Jazz or A2p would work better.

Hey man,i've been considering a '59 for the bridge of my double fat strat, how's that working out for you?

And in the neck of my strat i've got a '59 and it sounds beautiful. It's a little too bassy sometimes but i've been meaning to adjust the pole-pieces to remedy this.It has a beautiful singing lead voice and a nice crunch for rhythm. The clean tones are excellent and very warm.I'd definately recomend it and it will match up well with your bridge pickup, although it can't be coil-tapped which puts some guys off it.

Yeah the 59 in the bridge sounds great in my strat. It makes bridge sound warmer. It's really great with distortion up. Its cleans are great too cause it cleans up nicely when the guitar volume if turned down.
