this thing is funny but i would take my custom B.C Rich any time before i use this thing for death metal(2xemg 81 doesn't cut it for me). It's a nice collectible but i would not really play it.

Perfect for Goth Rock and/or Rob Zombie, but for any kind of Metal.....I´m not so sure

It looks like it fits the vibe of SOME metal... but I'm not too sure about how it would sound lol

ive seen death metal played with a P-90 equiped Gibby LP DC it didnt sound half bad. The tone was really nice with the mesa boogie.

Pfffff.... I've played black metal with a strat. (though... it was fitted with EMGs, like the guitar in question...) That guitar will be perfectly able to hoax death metal-like tones. But will it feel right?

does it feel comfortable playin an axe with such a finish? i'm curious.

im in a metal band and my main guitar is a strat with a full shred bridge, that guitar doesnt really cut it for me as far as death metal is concerned in looks, maybe goth Rock/metal and its rather ugly, i can imagine someone would love it but its certainly not for me.

well now....um...

actually that's pretty cool in an artistic sense. I don't know about actually using it though.

Looks like something I'd hang on my Cemetary Gates...

Should work just fine as a dust collector in my room...

the guitarist of marduk plays a 73 strat with the original pickups. You can play nearly everything with about any axe it's just a matter of playing and good gear.

I really dig the rusty looking pickups, and the finish in general.

I once played metal on a telecaster and fender blues deville. How's that?

But yeah, I tire of what ______ can I use for metal? It doesn't freakin' matter! Why have that same stereotypical tone as everyone else anyway?

I does look cool and the specs are impressive too. Did anyone e-mail them for the price? I think I would hang it on the wall and take it off to play here and there. As far a metal goes, does it really matter what you play as long as you're happy with it. I'm content with my handmade BC Rich's.

The headstock is bad to the bone!! The coffin body...EH.. looks uncomfortable....forget practicing with that thing.

Looks more like a psycho-billy guitar than a metal guitar.
