I would like to know wich one of the two wah wah´s do you find better?
I´m in between these two because I want something in this price range and it has to be a well known brand cause I live in Brasil...
I will not do any mods in the wah that i buy, so if its better to have one with true bypass let me know...
A friend borowed a Vox v-847 so I know how that sounds but I will not have the chance to test the crybaby classic, so a comparision between these two would be great!
What are the sound diferences??
Thanks in advance!
I'm not going to elaborate, but the 847 is the one!
I like the Crybaby classic, I don't know why, just wanted to hop on the fourm. Besides I'm a bass guy, what the hell do I know about geetars. LOL! See ya johnny boy.....

I own an Original Crybaby Wah...I love it!!!! I use it mainly for Rage Against the Machine stuff and some orignal. I have heard that the VOX has morer range but they both pivite the same degree....idk! lol
SO Id go with the crybaby
Bump!
I have the crybaby classic and have only used the 847. To me it sounded like the classic had a bigger sweep.
I have three Wahs. A early 60's Thomas organ Company Wah, a Vox 847, and a Vox Clyde McCoy. I use the Vintage Wah at home, and I use the Clyde on my Gigging board. The 847 I will eventually send to Stratdeluxer for his mods (He modded my vinatge Wah and it sound soooo much bbetter now). If you are not planning on modding the Wah I would go with the Clyde McCoy..... I think it has the best sound out of the box than the othere you are considering. It is a little more money though.
Most of the current Cry Baby pedals from Dunlop have the input and output jacks mounted to the pcb and this makes adding true bypass a pain in the rearend....The Vox 847 is alot easier to tweak(If you wanted to tweak it)as the board is easier to access and has externally mounted input and output jacks.
The first mod in getting the correct vocal tone and sweep from these new wahs, would be changing both the wah pot and inductor. The board tweaks or adding of quot;Qquot; quot;Gainquot; pots are the icing on the cake..
The best vintage sounding non-modded wah today in my opinion is the fulltone clyde wah(Hands down)...My modded Vox 847 sounds every bit as good or better than the fulltone..I've tryed just about every boutique wah made from Teese,Fulltone,Vox,Buddah, and others..
I like the Crybaby classic, I don't know why, just wanted to hop on the fourm. Besides I'm a bass guy, what the hell do I know about geetars. LOL! See ya johnny boy.....
Hello buddy.....You aren't leaving even sooner than planned are ya buddy?
