These 2 new Vintage 30s I bought today...What is the quickest and quot;safestquot;way to get them broken in.....Tell me your methods...

I do it the old fashion way: play as loud as you can (preferably with earplugs) for about 10 hours.

i hitch mine up to my home stereo and let it play all day while im at work

i actually usually use some lords of acid, the album lust. techno with lots of bass

I really was leaning towards some old Black Sabbath,Rush,or Led Zeppelin with alot of drum solos....

Curious.. how well do guitar amp speakers replicate regular music?

Terrible....The range of guitar speakers is within a narrow mid-range area(5k or so)..You need the full range to cover all frequencies to sound good with a stereo system...40hz to about 15khz

yep .. what i did (do)

Hehe I load them up for a week really load, and with obscene amounts of lows.
Play some funkvamps clean for an hour or so, then I switch to solo wank, lots of gain and lowend stuff, also for an hour.
5 days like this seems to work nicely

Now we're talking about breaking in, I have a question. Is there a quot;break inquot; time on a new tube amp? Do you have to play it a certain amount of hours before you can get the absolute best out of it?

Some think and some don't.
Personally it is more a question about getting the speakers soften up
