Does anyone know of a good Marshall amp modder in the NYC area? I have a Marshall JCM 800 2x12 that I don't want to ship, Voodoo amps is 4 hours away in upstate NY, so I was trying to find someone local- figuring there's alot of music stores and Rudy Pensa is on 48th street I figured a few might be around but I don't know where to look

I don't know of any in the city, tho I'm sure there are some.

I would def go with Voodoo if ya can make the time for the trip. Trace will mod while you wait w/ an appointment.

trace is great, itll be worth the drive

You can try from : localhost/There about 45 minutes from N.Y.C.
on L.I. The guy who owns the shop is a very competent Amp Tech/Guru.

There's a guy right on Union Square, too. I will have to get his name and number, tho. You can also ask the guys at 30th Street Guitars; they know everyone.

Unfortunately, Harry Kolbe retired from the mod business after working on my amps.

Thanks, I'll check out NY Music as they're relatively close to me on Long Island. If I had a head I'd send it to Voodoo but being it's a 2x12 combo it's a bit large to ship
