Someone recommended me one of these and im just making sure this is a Scholtz Rockman before i bid on it.
And how much would you say they're worth?
Well the real Rockman most people talk about is a headphone amp..... Rockman itself is a company and this is a preamp/fuzz box from their amp line.....
WhoFan
Well im after the one which is meant to be a Boston tone in a box...and for use with my Komet EL34 head to get huge live tone from it.
Does that headphone thing work like that or would this be what im after?
That's closer to what your looking for then the headphone style, go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone have experience with this particular model?

Yes, it sounds pretty good.
tom scholtz designed that thing to give him the tone he wanted which is all over the boston albums
If you're in the market for an effects processor, I used to have a Digitech 2112 that had a Boston patch that was FANTASTIC....just nailed the first 2 albums!
Cost a lot more than that pedal, but some of the other patches amp; what-nots were pretty good on it.
the unit in that auction isnt what i was referring to .. it could probably get you there, but i cant swear to it ... i was referring to the headphone style thing ... you cuold feeed the output of it to an amp with the right cables
good luck

That's what people were recording with though. As you can see in the linked pic.
and its Scholz, not scholtz

When people say a quot;Scholtz Rockmanquot;, is this what they mean (ebay item)?
