I have a KTG-1 preamp (serial number 0000!) which I bought years ago, probably around 15 years ago. I used to use it all the time and loved it to bits. I haven't used it in years and decided to use it the other day, and the sound was terrible.
I have a feeling that at some point I took the valves out and put them back in the wrong order.
I looked in the manual on the website and there's lots of info about operation but none about the valves.
If memory serves, there are two 12ax7's and one 12au7, but in which order do they go? The valve sockets aren't labelled.
If anyone can help, I would really, really appreciate.
Many thanks!

since there are only three, it shouldn't be too hard to play with them. I don't think there'lll be any damaged done either.
Here's a late reply if you still wanna know ...
From left to right looking from the front of the case
V1 is a 12AX7
V2 is a 12AX7
V3 is a 12Au7 and is the driver valve.
Believe it or not I found this in the user manual for the KTG 2075 power amp, on the last page. Who knows why it's there instead of the KTG-1 manual but there you go.
