I heard a rumor that George Lynch is currently developing a quot;Screamin' Demon Vquot; pickup with Seymour.

Anyone know if this is true or an Urban Myth?

All I know is that its supposed to be featured on george's new sig guitar.

Not sure if it'll be for sale individually to the public. Somthing evan could answer for ya.

I have heard about this somewhere. I also heard it was a more HO pickup.

Don't remember where though. Tough to get old.

There were a couple of posts about this a couple months ago... no one from SD ever replied to them, so we still don't know what's going on with the new Demon.

I'd hate for it to be like the new Mustaine pup, which is apparently only going to be sold as part of a signature guitar.

To the Best of my knowledge the Mustaine pup will only be available in his sig guitar for the first year or two, Then it will be available seperately. Thats unless things have changed. Haven't heard anything about new demon yet but I'm interested.

In the September issue of Vintage Guitar magazine (Setzer on the cover) there is an article on Lynch. In the article he says it will be exclusively on the new guitar. I wonder how it will be different?

edit: btw, I wonder if the custom shop would make one if you wanted one

In the Vintage Guitar interview, he said something like it's quot;much more vintage soundingquot;, and from another interview: quot;a new pickup that has a custom design for me also, that's called the Super V Pickup, which is kind of old school PASE, what everybody else is trying to build, but with a twist on it.quot;
PASE is probably a typo and should be PAF.

any new info ?
