I am looking to get a custom pickguard made and want it to match the color of the guitar....I can find places to cut the pickguard to my specs but they have stock colors only and I can't find one to match. I was thinking of getting a clear pickguard cut then painting to match...I have access to a paint shop so that wont be a problem.
My question is should I paint the top or just the underside? Looking at the top of my guitar there are no signs of pick wear on it so I don't think the pickguard would suffer to much abuse.
Any advise?
As always, Thanks guys.
Nevermind.....I should have done a search before I posted.....
haha... well okay but I kinda did a custom pickguard thing but really in reality not really its more like i took the pickguard off of my LP and then spray painted it black and never put it back on... GHETTO! HOLLA!
