I can get one of these for $299 with a gig bag here locally. It's got a maple fingerboard and a blue flame body.

Musician's Friend is selling these for $350 without a case.

I don't think it's a bad price for a guitar assembled in the US from Canadian made parts.

BTW, if anyone is looking for something like this, let me know. I might be able to work something out for you guys with the dealer.
i have a similar one, the SDxt, i really love it, its a great versatile guitar, that is great quality and is very cost effective. go for it, 250 is a great price...

Along with Thames I'm gasing for the LG P90 wich I can get locally for a good price.

But I'm GASing more for one of the older LGX two voice one from the late 90's when they had more finish options
basically that in Trans Green

I've had my eye on their LG series for some time now. They still go for $500 to $600 Canadian though, and I already have a #1 so I've gone for something cheeper.

I'm all over them! Of course I've been singing mine's praises since I got it.

godins are great guitars, i am using a godin LG signature, amazing guitar comes stock with duncans, i would recommend this guitar to anyone, well maybe not full out death metal players, but whatever.

Put in the right pickup and I'm sure it will do death metal just fine.

Wow . . . I just assumed that those guitars were a lot more money than that. Thats a heckuva deal.

my local store carries them, i've picked a few up, but never plugged one in...my wife loved the necks on them...i'll have to check them out next time i'm there!

I heard John Mclaughlin is now using Godins. So I had to go and try one out. They are really nice feeling guitars and im thinking about buying one soon.

I've played quite a few in guitar shops around here, and Godin's are pretty sweet guitars . . . the ones that I've played have always had crazy switching options and you can get just about any sounds out of them.
