Okay, so I'm gonna build me a guitar. However, when I mentioned my pickup configuration at another forum, someone told me there would be problems with resonant peaks and that hum-cancelling would not work in the 2 and 4 positions.

I planned to have a P-90 in the bridge, Strat pickup in the Mid, and a Tele pickup in the neck. Now, could anyone please tell me if there would be problems wiring this or not?

There could be but there won't be as long as your middle pickup is rw/rp from the neck and bridge. This will not be a problem with SD pickups as long as you order the correct models of each. A little research may be required but what you plan is very doable.

Whew, I'm quite relieved now. I've been looking at a Phat Cat in the Bridge, Alnico II Pro RW/RP in the mid, and a normal Alnico II Pro in the neck. That would work, right? Any suggestions?
