a few weeks ago i got a can of sherwood green nitro and a can of clear nitro from reranch.
i finished the clear coat off today, so in a few days i'm going to move on to the wet sanding/polishing phase.
however, i failed to order any of the 3M polish that reranch offers. i really don't want to order it because i'm impatient and i want to get this baby done.
so i'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good polish i can pick up at a hardware/automotive/guitar store.
You can probably pick up the 3M stuff at an automotive store, just call a few places round where you live and see if they stock it.
awesome. i'll check around. thanks.
in the meantime, if anyone has any other suggestions (in case i can't find the 3M stuff), i'm all ears.
I use Dupont polishing compound (the White stuff) you can get it in any
automotvie shop. The 3M stuff is a Lil' harder to find. I think PeP Boys
sells there stuff. I hear it's very good stuff.
Meguirs (sp?) makes a polishing compound that works well, too. I know for sure it's available at Pep Boys. The 3M product, if you can't find it at a local hardware, should be available through a local automotive paint supplier.
awesome. thanks for the suggestions, guys.
3M PerfectIt II fine cut followed by Meguiars Show Car Glaze #7 is what I use. You can get both at NAPA.
