For anyone debating gettting the Vox Valvetronix/ToneLab gear, I've got a cool link. I know tube amps are ideal, but for some (me, right now) they are out of the question, in terms of price.
I've owned the Vox ToneLab for a little over a year, and am still amazed at how warm it can sound, and it's my favourite piece of modelling technology (And trust me, I tried EVERYTHING).
Having said that, here is a link to some clips and a neat overview of the whole range. I've noticed questions about the Valvetronix line popping up every so often and I just stumbled upon this link, and I thought I'd share.
from : localhost/those that have given the stuff on the Vox site a listen, and would like more, this is a good site.
For those that own some of the gear, if you haven't already, check out the following for patches and stuff:
from : localhost/patchtronix.com/
from : localhost/will probably update this post in a few days with some of my own recordings, but first I must fix up some problems I've been having with my PC and recording in general.
Enjoy.
EDIT: Yeah, looking back this looks like a bit of a promo deal, but I just thought I'd offer something helpful for those who are trying to decide on this gear.
there is also a yahoo users group that has some cool settings you can dload
