Hi Everyone,
i am re-wiring my guitar and thought that while I was at it I would shield the internals. I painted the body cavity with shielding paint. What I am wondering is how to tie the shielding to ground? Will it naturally happen since the casings of the switches and pots are grounded or do I need to wrap a wire around a screw and screw it into the cavity? Thanks.

Yes, and then paint over the screw ...
Better yet, use copper foil so you can solder a wire right to it and run it to the ground side of your input jack.
I would use a wire and a screw if it is shielding paint.
