OK, so I've got a Hipshot tremolo (which is a direct replacement for a Fender two-post style tremolo), and basically it spaces the strings kind of like a Floyd. However, I'm wanting to get a Seth Lover. I guess they don't make an F-spaced one. Do you think it will affect the sound much? I don't want to settle for a pickup just because it's F-spaced (that is, I don't want a Blues Trembucker - it aint' the same thing!)

Then I'm thinking that the JB isn't F-spaced either, and it's supposed to be used on Jeff Beck's guitar - a Fender with a tremolo, probably requiring an F-spaced pickup. What's the deal here?

in general if the string spacing is over 2quot;, you want a trem spaced pup.
that being said, people got along fine using std spaced pups in fenders before they came about.

if you want a seth, get a seth. the jb can be ordered as a trembucker
