hi guys,
would like to know your preference of the 3 bridge system listed and what you like/dislike, pros/cons of your choice over the rest.
thanks as always!

3-saddle Tele bridge gt; everything
If I had to pick from that list, I'd say string-thru tune-o. String-thru just seems like the smartest design IMO: more resonance = better tone.
Of those three I prefer string-through/tune-o-matic. What kind of guitar is this for? That works well on a carved top, but on a flat top I'd consider going string-through hardtail.
string thru body hardtail is how i roll. i switched to graphtec stringsavers on my guitar, less high end which i got used to, but i can pound the hell out of my guitar now and its super comfy on palm mutes. plus i think string thru gives a beefier tone, especially with a thick body.
Well, the string thru improves resonance and sustain so thats what i voted for,but i also really like the advantages of a wrap-over bridge (less string tension, etc).
Anything but a crappy Fender bridge.
I agree with Lazer Razer.
Sustain and Resonance is increased. That gives the guitar a rich sound and the notes seem to ring forever. Great for Harmonics.
ive got a stop tailpiece and a tune-omatic but now i wrap the strings around the stop-tailpiece. i put them in backkwards essentially and bring them around. i read somewhere that this isbetter. i think it might have been on here...
the string through body its more deep than the others for my taste.
JJ
String thru body followed by tail stop piece with tune o matic bridge for endless sustain purposes alone.
Not a lot to choose from in this poll...
Kinda forgot Telecasters, Stratocasters, Mustang, Jaguar, Jazzaster, Heritage.
et f'king c
From these 3, I'd take the wraparound, because the point where the strings meet the bridge are closer to the body than tuneomatics.
But if I could choose something not on this list, I'd take the good old Fender hardtail type bridges.
thanks for the replies guys!
my apologies, was out of town. i personally prefer string-thru with a t-o-m bridge followed by a wraparound.
i will be ordering a tele body with a t-o-m configuration. sadly both usacg and warmoth do not offer the string-thru/t-o-m rout. i reckoned i can spec for a t-o-m and drill the holes for the strings but i am not confident of pulling it off.
any advise?
thanks as always!

They're Apples and Oranges for me....Different hardware for a different feel and a different sound.
String through
I'm not a fan of any bridge that causes the strings to go through the body. I find the guitar has more life if the string is mounted to the bridge. I like top-loaders, so of the three, I say the stop-bar with TOM, but I'll take a topload 6 barrel Tele bridge any day.
Or a Floyd.
I love wraparound bridges. There's only one solid piece holding the strings. The downside is that intonation may never be absolutely perfect, but if it's a good guitar, it can be intonated almost flawlessly. The sustain on a wraparound is very noticeable and a big plus to me Doesn't hurt that it looks bad*ss too!

pardon me, how do wraparounds sustain more? i had the impression that strings through the body will generally result in more sustain and resonance.
i do agree that the look of a wraparound do kick behinds!
anything that involves a tune-o-matic for me. palm muting on anything else feels like crap. string thru w/ TOM gets my vote
