Distortion Factory
I know Digitech dosen't get a real warm reception around here most of the time but it looks interesting. It says it can pull off the souds of a TS-9, Big Muff, Pro Co Rat and more. Wonder how close these sound to the originals?
I have only one thing from digitech, and i wont buy another.
My RP100 pedal is just a load of mud or thin. The reverb is acceptable though, but i dont even use it for that because of the noise it makes, and it kills my tone.
I love my Bad Monkey but that's an analog pedal.
For that kind of money, you can get a BroTech Fat Pipe ... well, almost!
On a scale of 1 to 10,it falls about in the middle at a 5-good tones, but not great tones.Aesthetics are great though-cool carbon fiber case.I have a Boss DS-20 that kicks a$$ all over this Digitech pedal, and has 22 different distortion tones.I grabbed it off of Ebay for $120 shipped.
As far as Digitech goes they tend to miss the mark more than they hit it.I did recently, however, purchase The Weapon pedal by Digitech.I was prepared to hate this pedal just for the pure reason that I can't stand Dan Donegan of Disturbed(he endorses this pedal.)But for the sound I was looking for, this pedal nails it!It has 7 preset 'Disturbed tones',and I have to say,I was pleasantly surprised by the tone quality of this pedal. The downside is that there is no room to tweak these tones. For the most part-I dig The Weapon for the #7 overdriven chunky distortion. It sounds amazing next to my Sparkle Drive set on clean

Did someone mention
Donny Osmond Distortion?
Dead On Delivery?
Distortion On Drugs?
Down On Digitech?
Dreadful Overdrive Distortion?
hahahahahahaha
Honestly, has anyone ever bought a DOD or Digitech product, where they felt fully satisfied with it's performance, after laying the money out for it? The curiosity is killing me!
