I was fiddling with my new jnr last night and started wondering:

Seeing as dog ear p90s bolt directly to the wood and have no obvious height adjustment, does that mean you're stuck with the height of the pickup? -do any manufacturers make dog ear p90 pickup covers of different heights to compensate?

cant ya just stick a washer between the pickup amp; the body ?

Not if you want to lower it...

I never messed with the string height on any of my old LP Juniors. However, the ES295 had dog earred P-90's in both positions (as well as a few other hollow bodied guitars. There are 2 different heights of dog ear covers.

You can also rout the cavity and shim the pickup with a popsicle stick or something.

sand out some of the wood in the pickup cavity ?

I guess that answers his question.

Just raise your action .
