I'm interested in adding a fullsize synthesizer to my arsenal. Ideally, I'd love to get an Alesis Andromeda, but that's a bit outside of my budget. Right now, I'm thinking about a Yamaha DX-7 Mk1 and a Sherman Filterbank2 ( from : localhost/Any other suggestions?

Yeah, I know. How much do MiniMoogs go for nowadays?

a good controller, a laptop, and some softsynths would be the best choice.

Iused to have the rouge I sold to you as well as an Opus 3, a Memory Moog (which is very close to a Mini...I was being stupid and sold that) and for a while I also had a Rouge that was sold through Radio Shack! It was just like your Rouge but the silkscreen was different colors and is said Radio Shack rouge by moog!

I was afraid of that. What kind of hardware would I need?

I have a Yamaha S80 that I just love. 88 full sized and weighted keys and great tones. You should be able to find the S80 or the newer S90 used on ebay for a reasonable price.
